| Can these prices go up? The answer to that question is maybe. At this point in time (June, 2009), the price of oil is reasonable. If that price would dramatically change, the cruise lines and/or the airlines could add on fuel surcharges. Can these prices go down? The answer here is yes. If the economy does not recover, and people are reluctant to travel, then it is certainly possible that these prices could go down. It would be wise to go ahead and lock in your cabin assignment and make the deposit. After that, if the price goes down, your invoice amount would be adjusted accordingly. Bloomington/Chicago/Barcelona... Your cruise vacation begins with a motorcoach drive to Chicago followed by air flights to Barcelona. We will be met by Royal Caribbean representatives and transferred to our Hotel. It will be nice to have this extra time in such an exciting city: optional sightseeing could include a visit to the Picasso Museum or to catch a Flamenco show. We will transfer in the early afternoon to board the beautiful Brilliance of the Seas. Villefranche, France... This charming little fishing village is situated midway between Nice and Monte Carlo. What a great location from which to explore the French Riviera. Eze Village is also very nearby offering some fantastic views of the Mediterranean. Livorno, Italy... Florence & Pisa await you. You will be able to walk across the Ponte Vecchio and browse the Uffizi Museum, and you can see The David at the Galleria dell'Accademia. The famous Leaning Tower in Pisa is ready for another photo shoot. This will be a most memorable day. Civitavecchia, Italy... Make a wish and throw three coins into the Trevi Fountain, visit the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel or take in the dramatic Colosseum--Rome offers you many, many choices. Santorini, Greece... Is one of the most spectacular settings in all of the Mediterranean. Some say this is part of the lost continent of Atlantis. This is a very charming Greek Island. Kusadasi, Turkey... From the bustling harbor of Kusadasi you can journey to the ruins of Ephesus, St. John's Basilica and the Shrine of the Virgin Mary. Athens, Greece... offers many options including a visit to the Parthenon situated on the Acropolis. Also take in the National Museum, the Plaka and the Temple of Poseidon. Some tours may take you outside of the city to visit Corinth & Mycenae. Naples, Italy... Let the wind blow through your hair on an Amalfi Coastal drive tour from Naples. Visit Pompeii and wander amongst the ruins. The enchanting Isle of Capri brings opportunities to bask in the sun and walk through cobble stoned streets. |
