Copenhagen, Denmark... our visit to Copenhagen begins with a Hotel overnight to give you some extra time to explore and enjoy this wonderful city. An evening visit to Tivoli Gardens is the perfect time to enjoy the lights, sounds, and flavours of this magical park. The next day, your exploration continues with the Little Mermaid, the colorful waterfront district, and the Castles of North Zealand. The famous Stroget--the walking street--is nearby which will be of interest for all. We will board the Emerald Princess in the early afternoon.

Stockholm, Sweden... is a city of remarkable beauty with its numerous parks, tree-lined squares and boulevards and pleasant water vistas. In the Old Town you can stroll enjoying the Royal Palace, antique shopping, art galleries and much more. Other sightseeing options include the City Hall, Vasa Museum, Millesgarden or take a 15-minute drive outside the city to see Drottningholm--the summer residence of the Royal Family. Before and after our call in Stockholm, try to be out on deck to enjoy the islands and summer homes in the Swedish Archipelago.

Helsinki, Finland... is the capital of Finland with spectacular architecture and graceful design. Visit Hvittrask, the home and studio of Eliel Saarinen, Finland's most famous architect. His son, Eero Saarinen, was the principle designer of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. Take a summertime stroll with the locals in the garden-like setting of the Esplanade.

St. Petersburg, Russia... the rich cultural heritage of this city reaches back to 1703, when it was founded by Peter the Great on the banks of the Neva River. Elegant facades, glorious cathedrals and grand residences were built along the city's canals. Not to be missed: the Hermitage Museum, Petrodvorets--the summer palace, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Peter & Paul Fortress and a walk down Nevsky Prospect will be a long-lasting memory. The ship spends two full days in St. Petersburg.

Tallinn, Estonia... Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is one of the oldest cities on the Baltic Sea, founded in 1154. Its old town has remained remarkably unchanged for the past 600 years, making it one of the most attractive cities in Europe. In contract, today's Tallinn is also a thoroughly modern city filled with parks, museums, sports centers, hotels and cafes--a city certain to suit most every traveler's taste.

Gdynia, Poland... nearby is the city of Gdansk which is famous as the birthplace of the Solidarity movement led by political activist Lech Walesa. Both Gdynia and Gdansk have been important seaport and shipbuilding centers dating back to the time of the Hanseatic League. Tours will include the sights and architecture of the Main Town or a visit to nearby Malbork Castle.

Oslo, Norway... is the oldest of the Scandinavian capital cities and one of the largest cities in Europe stretching across 172 square miles. Situated at the head of a 60-mile fjord on the southern coast, Oslo is beautifully framed by a vast expanse of woods, moors and lakeland. Sightseeing attractions include Vigeland sculpture garden, the Viking Ship Museum, Thor Heyerdahl's Kon Tiki Museum and a drive up to the Holmenkollen Ski Jump for a fantastic view of the city.
